Installation of the Epson iProjection software allows you to “stream” or “cast” your laptop screen to a compatible Epson projector. This method is best suited for content such as websites or slides. Video content is best presented with a hardwire connection in order to avoid audio lag. If you run into any problems, please email us at helpdesk@dcgschools.com. Thank you!
Locate the Mosyle Manager app in your dock, Launchpad, or applications folder.
Navigate to the Self-Service tab, click on My Apps, and install Epson iProjection.
The software will be installed in your applications folder. Upon opening it for the first time, select Advanced Connection Mode and Set the Selected Connection Mode as default
Also upon opening for the first time, you will be presented with a series of prompts to allow screen recording from the app. This is an Apple safeguard to prevent unauthorized viewing of your screen. Follow the prompts presented including entering your password or TouchID. You should also see a screen to open System Settings or System Preferences. Click the slider to turn screen recording on, then follow the prompts to quit and reopen Epson Iprojection.
When Epson reopens you should be presented with this screen. Find your room number in the Projector Name column and click the checkbox next to it. Then click Register to create a profile unique to your room. A pop-up box will appear. Confirm by selecting Ok.
Your room profile will now appear in the list on the right. Double click on the profile to show only your screen, verify that the checkbox is still marked, and select Join.
The iProjection control bar will appear, typically in the lower right corner of your screen.
Share: When this button is blue, it means your screen is being sent to the projector.
Mute: This will black out your screen and mute the audio. This “hides” your screen.
Pause: This button will pause or “freeze” the current image on the display, allowing you to navigate to other content on your computer.
Disconnect All: This button will disconnect sharing from the projector.
The final step, once the control bar is on your screen, is to change the input on the projector itself. Find the LAN button on the wall control box or Epson remote and press it.
